Remember that feeling you used to get as a kid when the weather man called for snow? And not just any snow…I’m talking snowmageddon type of snow. The type that canceled schools and shut down cities. There was nothing better than those days. Sledding, snowball fights, building snowmen, drinking hot chocolate. Those type of snows tend to stress adults out with questions like, “How am I going to get to work?” or “Do I have enough food in the refrigerator?” But not me…I love snow just as much now as I did when I was 10. The more the better. So naturally, I have a soft spot for winter weddings. There’s just something about the cold and snow that seems so romantic. Between the twinkling lights, glowing candles, and endless unique wintery details (who needs a horse drawn carriage when you can exit the church in a horse drawn SLEIGH?!?), it makes perfect sense to me to want to get married during the colder months.
